This masterpiece unites Byzantine and Ottoman traditions in a way that reflects both the grandeur and cultural depth of Istanbul.
Built in the 6th century AD under Emperor Justinian I, the Hagia Sophia underwent a significant transformation when it was converted into a mosque after the Ottoman conquest. This transition, where Byzantine iconography fused with Islamic elements, gives the structure its unique character, embodying the passage of time and the evolution of religions.
While exploring the corridors of the Hagia Sophia, we were inspired to create the fragrance 'OTHMAN.' A perfume that captures the spirit of these intertwined civilizations.
