The story of OTHMAN
Here, the ancient streets tell a unique story—in the picturesque city of Istanbul. Our visit to the Hagia Sophia, a structure that has transformed over the centuries from an Orthodox cathedral to a museum and now a mosque, left a lasting impression. This masterpiece unites Byzantine and Ottoman traditions in a way that reflects both the grandeur and cultural depth of Istanbul.
Built in the 6th century AD under Emperor Justinian I, the Hagia Sophia underwent a significant transformation when it was converted into a mosque after the Ottoman conquest. This transition, where Byzantine iconography fused with Islamic elements, gives the structure its unique character, embodying the passage of time and the evolution of religions.
While exploring the corridors of the Hagia Sophia, we were inspired to create the fragrance OTHMAN. A perfume that captures the spirit of these intertwined civilizations. OTHMAN embodies the mystique and historical depth that resonate in every corner of the Hagia Sophia—where the breath of the ancient past meets the soul of the present.
