This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used and shared when you visit www.mozaick.at (the "Site") or make a purchase there.
PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically collected information as "Device Information".
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
- "Cookies" are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies and how to disable them, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
- "Log files" track actions occurring on the Site and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages and date/time stamps.
- "Web beacons", "tags" and "pixels" are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.
Additionally, when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address and phone number. We refer to this information as "Order Information".
When we talk about "Personal Information" in this Privacy Policy, we mean both Device Information and Order Information.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We generally use the Order Information that we collect to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).
Additionally, we use this Order Information to:
communicate with you;
screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services, where this is in line with your privacy preferences.
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

COOKIES, ANALYTICS, ADVERTISING AND REVIEWS
We only use some services on our website (analytics and advertising, see below) if you consent in the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 165(3) TKG 2021). Without your consent, these services are not loaded. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time with effect for the future via the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. We set technically necessary cookies, e.g. for the cart and checkout, on the basis of our legitimate interest in a functioning shop (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Hotjar (usage analysis)
With your consent, we use Hotjar, a service of Content Square SAS, 7 rue de Madrid, 75008 Paris, France. Hotjar shows us how visitors use our website, e.g. clicks, mouse movements, scrolling and pages visited, in the form of heatmaps and session recordings. This involves processing device information (browser, operating system, screen size), a shortened IP address and the approximate country. Keystrokes are not recorded; numbers and email addresses are masked. For this, Hotjar sets cookies, e.g. _hjSessionUser_… (up to 1 year) and _hjSession_… (30 minutes). The data is stored for a maximum of 365 days. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We have a data processing agreement with the provider. Meta Pixel and Conversions API (advertising on Facebook and Instagram)
With your consent, we use the Meta Pixel and the Conversions API of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland (“Meta”). This lets us measure whether our ads on Facebook and Instagram lead to visits and purchases, and show ads to people who might be interested in them. The following is transmitted to Meta: pages visited, products viewed, cart, start of checkout and purchases (products, value, currency), device information, IP address and cookie identifiers (e.g. _fbp, up to 90 days). For a purchase, encrypted (hashed) contact details such as your email address may also be transmitted so that Meta can attribute the purchase to an ad. The Conversions API also transmits these events directly from our shop system (Shopify app “Facebook & Instagram”) to Meta, likewise only with your consent.
We and Meta are joint controllers for the collection and transmission of this data (Art. 26 GDPR), see https://www.facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum. Meta is solely responsible for any further processing. Meta may transfer data to the USA; Meta Platforms Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Judge.me (product reviews)
For product reviews, we use Judge.me, a service of Judge.me Ltd, c/o Buckworths, 1-3 Worship Street, London EC2A 2AB, United Kingdom. Judge.me displays reviews on our website and processes the data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR).
• Review request: After your order has been delivered, we send you an email via Judge.me asking for a review, but only if you have agreed to receive marketing emails (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). For this, your name, your email address and the products ordered are transmitted to Judge.me.
• Publication: If you submit a review, the star rating, text, any photos and your name in the form you choose are published on our website. The legal basis is the consent you give when submitting it.
• Deletion: We delete reviews on request to contact@mozaick.at.
• Data transfer: Judge.me may process data in the United Kingdom and the USA. The EU Commission has found an adequate level of data protection for the United Kingdom; for transfers to other countries, Judge.me uses contractual safeguards.

Google Analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, integrated via the Shopify app “Google & YouTube”. This helps us understand how our website is used and measure the success of our advertising. We process pages visited, products viewed, cart and purchases, device information and cookie identifiers (e.g. _ga, up to 2 years). Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Google may transfer data to the USA; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The data is deleted after the retention period set in Google Analytics, at the latest after 14 months. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
BEHAVIORAL ADVERTISING
As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. DO NOT TRACK
Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a "Do Not Track" signal from your browser.

Additionally, if you are a European resident, please note that we process your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example, if you place an order through the Site) or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Please also note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.
DATA RETENTION
When you place an order through the Site, we will keep your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
CHANGES
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
SMS marketing service
We value your privacy and the information you provide in connection with our SMS marketing service. We use this information to send you text notifications (for your order, including abandoned checkout reminders), SMS marketing offers and transactional texts, including requests for reviews from us.
Opt-in data and consent for text messages are not shared with any third parties, except our messaging partners, to enable and operate our text messaging program.
Our website uses cookies to track the items you add to your shopping cart, including when you abandon your purchase. This information is used to determine when to send cart reminder messages via SMS.
